Root Moisture Management in New Plantings and Existing Trees
Official product information describes mixing ARAJEL thoroughly into the planting soil and placing it in the root zone for new plantings; for existing trees, application is made to the active root area under the canopy projection.
In new plantings
The general reference on the product page is 2–3 grams per kilogram of planting soil or 1–2 kilograms per cubic meter of soil. This range is not a field prescription; it should be verified according to species, soil and climate conditions. The mixture should be prepared homogeneously without creating intense direct contact with roots, and ample water should be provided.
For existing trees
Application can be made by placing a polymer-soil mixture in points opened within the root area under the canopy projection. Roots must not be cut, the product must not be left on the surface, and irrigation must be sufficient.
