This notice is issued by ARA İleri Yüksek Teknoloji Ürünleri Tic. ve San. A.Ş. (“Company” or “ARAJEL”), operator of https://arajel.net, to explain the processing of personal data under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). It applies to visitors, people who contact us, users who manage cookie choices and, when enabled, users of the direct-purchase form.
1. Data controller and contact details

2. Data we may process
- Contact data: name, e-mail, phone number, subject and message content.
- Security and technical data: IP address, browser/device information, request time, page/transaction information and anti-abuse logs.
- Cookie-choice records: random consent identifier, decision, selected categories, policy version, language, page path and timestamp; raw IP and browser strings are not kept in these records, only keyed one-way hashes.
- Analytics data: after consent, Google Analytics may process visit, session, browser/device, approximate location and interaction information.
- Direct-purchase form data, if enabled: identity/contact details, delivery and billing address, company/tax details, quantity, payment preference, order note and agreement/marketing choices. The current form does not collect payment-card numbers.
Please do not place sensitive or special-category information in free-text fields unless it is strictly necessary for your request.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We process data to answer enquiries and provide support; perform pre-contractual and, where available, order-related steps; meet accounting and legal obligations; protect the website and prevent abuse; remember and evidence cookie choices; and, only with the required consent, use analytics or load external media. Under KVKK, applicable grounds include contract-related necessity, legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of rights and legitimate interests that do not override fundamental rights. Activities that require explicit consent are kept separate from this notice and consent may be withdrawn.
4. Contact form and direct-purchase area
Contact-form submissions may be stored in our systems and forwarded to authorised staff by e-mail so we can respond and maintain a request history. Security logs may include IP and browser information. If the direct-purchase area is enabled, the information entered there is transmitted to the server for validation and, when a live order flow is connected, may be used for ordering, delivery, invoicing, customer service and statutory record keeping.
5. Cookies, Google Analytics and external media
Strictly necessary technologies are used for core functionality. Google Analytics is not loaded until you allow the Analytics category. Advertising storage and ad-personalisation signals are configured as denied by default. Embedded YouTube and Google Maps content is not loaded until you allow External Media. 6. Third-party destinations
Links to WhatsApp, Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Google Maps and other services take you to third-party environments. Processing after you leave our website is governed by the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy notices.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Where necessary, data may be disclosed to hosting/IT and e-mail providers, professional advisers, accounting providers, logistics/payment providers when those services are activated, and competent public authorities. Use of Google Analytics, YouTube or Google Maps may involve processing or transfers outside Türkiye. Cross-border transfers are handled in accordance with Article 9 KVKK and the then-current transfer mechanisms, such as an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards (including standard contracts where applicable) or a statutory derogation.
8. Retention
Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and applicable statutory retention/limitation periods. The browser cookie that remembers your choices is configured for 180 days, while consent-evidence records are targeted for deletion after 730 days. Contact and possible transaction records may be kept longer where required to resolve a request, comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet transmission is completely secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through open text fields.
10. Rights under KVKK
Subject to Article 11 KVKK, you may request confirmation of processing and information about it; learn the purposes and recipients; request correction, deletion or destruction where legal conditions are met; request notification of certain corrections/deletions to recipients; object to an outcome produced exclusively by automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
11. How to exercise your rights

12. Additional rights outside Türkiye
If another mandatory privacy law applies to your interaction with ARAJEL, including the GDPR/UK GDPR or an applicable U.S. state privacy law, you may also have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent. Those rights apply only to the extent the relevant law applies to the Company and the processing. We do not intentionally use this website to sell personal data for monetary consideration; where local law treats certain analytics or third-party disclosures as “sharing” or targeted advertising, you can disable Analytics and External Media through Cookie Preferences.
13. Children and updates
The website is not designed for children and we do not intentionally seek to collect children’s personal data. This notice may be updated when our processing, services or legal obligations change. The current version is published on the website.
